Timothy is a litigation associate with Gibsons LLP. Tim's approach to problem solving is to work with a client to craft an appropriate, economical solution, through negotiation, arbitration, litigation, or by other dispute resolution mechanisms.

Tim's civil practice includes estate litigation, mortgage enforcement, construction liens, commercial dispute resolution, and debt collection, while his family practice includes negotiating and drafting marriage contracts and separation agreements, and litigating custody, access, support and property disputes. Tim encourages clients to consider collaborative family law, which can reduce the potential negative fallout of separating spouses on children. He would be pleased to assist clients with wills and powers of attorney for personal care and property.

Tim has argued cases in Windsor, Brockville, St. Thomas, Kingston, Perth, Toronto and of course, Ottawa, and presented cases to the Ontario Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, the landlord and tenant tribunal, the Ontario Municipal Board, and the board of education in discipline hearings. Tim shows pictures of his beautiful Golden Retriever to all who are interested.
